Used: Apollo 8000 Overhead Projector (eBay: ) Phillips 15" Monitor (Goodwill: ) Various Cables and adapters (DiscountElectronics.com: ) KDE4 on OpenSuSE (opensuse.org: FREE) Music: "Reggae" - Peter John Ross (sonnyboo.com FREE) Video: Dr Who S02E01 (Find it yourself!: FREE) Total Project Cost: I still have a long way to go from here; I plan to build a better case for light and sound dampening and add a surround-sound system of some sort. As you can see, I am projecting straight on the wall, which is off-white. I plan to use a few yards of spandex cloth for a screen, but professional screens should work much better. Then again, real projectors would work better as well ;-)
